Coming in February!
This 2-hour demonstration will teach you how to enhance your relationship on the ground to help you develop your confidence in the saddle. You will learn how to read your horse’s body language, energy, emotions and subtle (or not so subtle) behaviors. This clinic is sure to offer something new to take home and apply to your own horses whether you are new to ground work or have been doing it for decades. There will be a 1-hour Q & A session after the demonstration.
Danielle has owned and worked with horses for over 35 years. In the early 90’s she was a co-manager of a successful Connecticut trail riding business. In 1997 she worked on the film the Horse Whisperer and met Buck Brannaman. This introduced her to a new way of riding, training, and connecting with horses. Over the past 25 years she has studied with various horsemen/women from the horsemanship and dressage disciplines and learned a mass of horse handling and training knowledge. She now specializes in starting young horses or retraining troubled horses. When working with people her training methods are based on knowing that each person and horse is an individual and should be guided with that in mind. Her goal is to instruct the horse and the owner with methods that they can relate to and understand, therefore resulting in a familiar, calm, safe and willing partnership. Using gentle, supportive, techniques derived from horse behavior she instructs in a patient, fun environment. She currently owns 4 horses which she trains, trail rides, practices dressage and working equitation/versatility and does clinics with to further her knowledge.
